The 50m2 mural Freska by the artist Balthasar on the wall of the freezing plant, which is one of Iceland’s leading fish-processing firms, shows the village’s main industry, which has long been connected to fish.

Revealed on 17th. of june 1990 and puzzled together with 15 pictures which show the past and the present with scenes from the towns surroundings like Bleiksá waterfall and Holmatindur mountain it took one year to create and weighs 5 tonns.
